The Baha’i Academy is an institution engaged in research and action in the field of value education for institutions of higher learning.
Founded on 27 June 1982, it is situated at Shivaji Nagar, Panchgani, a peaceful hill resort about 4300 feet above mean sea level, 100 Kms south of Pune, State of Maharashtra, India. Its 'Permanent Seat' overlooks a scenic valley and mountain range with farm land terraces, and is surrounded by trees and gardens.

The Bahá’í Academy is constantly in touch with reputed educational institutions that offer programmes in the fields of personal development and social progress. Two of these international institutions are among its regular collaborators, FUNDAEC and ACME.

The logo is composed of the Programme title, i.e. “Education in Universal Human Values” and graphic representation of the same in two ways: first, the word “Education” is represented by the ‘open book’ at the bottom of the logo, “Universal” is symbolized by the ‘globe and map of the world’, “Human” is represented by the shape of an empowered human ‘body’ who is expressing the ‘value of joy’.
