Fostering Personal Development & Social Progress (2-Credits): Me, My World, My Mission

Nurturing the intellectual and moral growth of the individual and contributing to society’s collective development constitute the two-fold purpose of education. To achieve the above the emphasis of the Bahá’í Academy’s online courses is on building moral capabilities, collaborative learning and working, life skills and leadership abilities. The five components that result into such abilities include clarifying concepts, practicing necessary skills, developing healthy attitude, strengthening spiritual qualities, and acquiring relevant information. Hence these courses go beyond acquisition of knowledge alone and emphasizes practical application of the values and principles in real life situations. The online course currently offered by the Bahá’í Academy include the Foundation Level course on Fostering Personal Development and Social Progress and an e-B.Ed programme that is offered in collaboration with other partner institutions of the I_Consent.
